Here's a little about the Rapport Songwriters Nights:
'A close and harmonious relationship in which the people or groups are concentrating to understand each other's feelings or ideas and communicate well.'
Lefty’s owner Erik Brown and Singer/Songwriter Bethany Joy Johnson are excited to host a Saturday night of Des Moines area Singer/Songwriters!!
Iowa local, Bethany Joy Johnson, recently returned from Nashville, TN. Where she has spent the last three and half years singing, songwriting and recording in Music City. She has played world-renowned venues such as The Commodore, Douglas Corner and even The Blue Bird Café.
Upon her return to Des Moines, she teamed up with Erik, to bring a platform to local Iowa’s Singer/ Songwriters. To share there stories, vision, and undeniable talent through music at Lefty’s.
I'll be joined by Josie Overmyer for another duo night at Cafe Paradiso! We'll be playing a host of new cover songs as well as our originals.
Join me for a Christmas edition of the live online show! I'll be doing something special for this show. For all of you who attend live I'll be counting your votes towards a Christmas cover song that I'll record and send out as a gift to the mailing list. Be sure to tune in live to cast your vote!
